My Experience with Google Webmaster
Google webmasters is a very interesting for blog owner, because with this free tool we can interact with google about our blog. As i describe in previous post, How to get fast indexed by google, make indexed by google is not easy. But don’t afraid, our blog will be indexed after we make some effort.
With google webmasters we can submit our sitemap to google. Submit sitemap is very interesting because with submit our sitemap, it make google more easier looking up our blog and make it easy to indexing our blog. It’s very important to make a sitemap. For blog using wordpress platform, there is a plugin to make an automatically sitemap. The plugin is Google XML Sitemaps. It’s plugin automatically creating sitemap file to our root directory.
Beside that with google webmasters we can set associated our blog url. We can inform google to set our blog url with www or without www. I’m not be sure but i think, it’s important to set our url blog to associated name to avoid duplicate url.
Also we can get information about google crawling statistic. How many url in sitemap that has crawled by google, when google last visited our blog and many much useful information.
Before we can use all feature, we must make a verified, by placing a meta tag or make a file and upload it in our server.
